I like it.
To play with words.... has always been a big pleasure to me.
I found this one on the website of the Swiss fashion mag Annabelle which I bought yesterday while doing some grocery shopping.
In this case they use it as another word for sale which is now everywhere. In times of recession got to a sale. Yeah.
In their print issue they have a whole article about the so-called crisis which is kind of interessting. Cause it is not just the boring winy-winy-pitty-stuff, how bad everything is and so on. No, they write about that it is also a chance for all of us, for the economy, for small companies...
I also read last week in the current issue of Sportswear International that the has not reached the comsumer and their shopping habbits so far. They still like to shop and spend money as usual. So where is this damn crisis? In our heads, I think.
Back to the fun stuff.
The common recessionista is a fashionista with a small wallet. She knows everything about fashion and where to get it. And what she really cares about is where and when the next sale, clearing sale, sample sale or archive clearing is. She is bargain girl! Watch out!
