A site elindult!

Getting started
You know where to login? And you know where to register your blog? These are the two most important things. The rest is really easy.
Your blog has (for you as admin) three separated menus: on top the »menu for users«, next the »menu for contributors« and on bottom the »menu for admins«.
From these three menus you can administrate the whole weblog.

Typolis Skins: Digging Deeper with CSS
You should have litte CSS skills to dig deep, but you are rewarded with full skinability. Quasi no limits.
For full access to the CSS of your blog choose from the menu: --> Layouts --> Skins (within the small menu that is assigned to each layout) --> Site Layout --> Stylesheet.
The Stylesheet editor is some kind of sub-skin of the main skin. Each sub-skin is listed in the Site Layout menu. You can edit the page contents (e.g. the navigation or the headers) almost the same way as you did with the CSS. Worth a try. And no need to worry: If you damage something you can reset the sub-skin you broke or import a whole new layout.
Be careful with the macros:
Use the Web Developer Extension for Firefox to edit CSS quickly.

<% layout.bgcolor %> for example is replaced by the color that is set in the layout preferences. When you change the macro to a specific color in the CSS, the preferences won't work properly any longer.Use the Web Developer Extension for Firefox to edit CSS quickly.
At a Glance: The Skinability of Typolis
Typolis is quite easy to use. Your first story is online just a few minutes after you registered your blog. Creating your individual skin is as easy: you don't even need any CSS or HTML know how to change colors and fonts.

Menu for every user
By default, there are only the two links »Home« and »Tags« in the Menu for users.
These two links appear in every Blog, no matter if its your own one or not.
With »Home« you get to the homepage of the blog, e.g. typolis.net/yoursite.
With »Tags« you get to the overview of tags that have been used in this single blog. Explore the blog this way by tag.

Menu for admins
By default, this menu has six links: »Members«, »Preferences«, »Layouts«, »Modules«, »Referrers« and »Most Read Stories«.
This menu appears only for the admins of the specific blog. Upgrade the status of a blogmember in the members section.
»Preferences«, »Layouts« and »Modules« is for advanced users only. You can damage your whole blog with just one stupid click. So be carfeful and THINK before you CLICK.
If you ever clicked before you've thought and your blog doesn't work anymore send us a mail: trouble@typolis.net.
»Referrers« and »Most Read Stories« is the statistics section of you blog. OK, we must admit, it's not as cool as Google Analytics, it's more likely kind of »first steps in web statistics«.
For your personal second step in web statistics read our How to Integrate Google Analytics.

Move your blog to typolis
Does anybody know of a way to transfer an existing blog to typolis?
Well, adjusting the layout and skins is no problem. I think of transfering a hundred stories to typolis. (My present blog already runs on a antville platform.)
Actually, somewhere here on typolis I read that the Sumaato team successfully moved from their old blog stories to typolis. Hence, it should be possible.

number of stories at the homepage
I'd like to ask the typolis:admins for the default value of story postings visible at a blog's homepage. is it determined by a number (eg. the most recent 7 stories) or by time (eg. the stories of the last 3 days)? in addition: how may you change that value?
btw: the tag elements of this posting (inside the story editor) don't link to the javascript to assign tags but to the blog's tag folder.
