Google Blogsearch

Google added a new option for searching recent blog entries all over the sphere. The goal is to include every blog that publishes a site feed. It seems to work like Technorati Search, so last entries are listed on top plus dynamic updated feeds for search results.

Yahoo! Audio Search
Yahoo released its Audio Search that includes audio from and information about a wide range of audio publishers. It looks across a collection of online music services (e.g., iTunes, Yahoo! Music Unlimited, Garageband.com) and audio files on the Web and lists all places where you can download specific files.

Google's Expandable Results

Google is testing a new search feature within its search results. It's an expandable content that can display more information about a site including an image and a short text based on the content of the site, Related links, and "Inside this site" links.

Search in Typolis
You can search for unknown parts of words with an asterix. Typing corn*, *flakes or *lake* will return stories containing the word cornflakes.
You can also use an questionmark if one single character is unknown. So you gonna get your result if you ask for ?ornflakes.
Furthermore if you append the tilde sign at the end of an word, Typolis would find all words that sounds like the requested. lake~ will return all entries containing "lake", "like", "bake", "late" ... and so on.
The search also supports the boolean operators "AND", "OR", "NOT", "+" and "-".
