Financial investment part 1.
N° 1: Qvest Special Issue #1: Widerstand (Resistance)

It's really quite an investment - € 15,- but it's worth the money. It's thick like a book. I carried it around for a while - also quite a nice exercise - just to mention this as a positive side effect. This special issue features some really good photo stories, including one by Hedi Slimane. The main theme is "resistance". I kind of like the Qvest Magazine. Check it out.
N° 2: German Vogue Mai 2006: Magie der Kurven (Magic of the Curves)

When I had a first look at this issue I was quite disappointed. The title promissed something I was really looking forward to. Curves! Would that mean photo shoots with really curvy women?? But at first it looked like they just took another skinny model wearing voluminous clothes standing next to a huge fan. But then I changed my oppinion a bit, cause I really liked the article on Natalia Vodianova whos actual name is now Natalia Portman. And the Max Raabe doing a conversation with Marilyn Manson. And Terry Richardson's shot of Dita von Teese. And a really good question sheet by Dr. Ruth K. Westheimer. Yeah so in the end I kind of liked the whole issue a lot.

Our interview with the Berlin based magazine "Das Magazin" is out now. I'm still a bit irritated to read something about me.
If you want to read it, go to the "Das Magazin" website. But it's in German.
Yeah, and I already have a few favourites in this text: #1 that I irritated the interview guy with my appearance. Wearing red ball-shaped earrings which looked like cherries saying hello from under my blonde bubikopf hairstyle. Combined with the pink piraty skull & bones on my laptop case.
We will see where this leads me to....
A Girl's Guide To The World Cup
Strenesse designer Gabriele Strehle, the official outfitter of the German team, has produced a coffee-table book on her countrymen. Die Deutsche Elf (The German 11) is thick with pictures of the well-dressed players shot by the Irving Penn-trained photographer Jesse Frohman. The book is available for affordable € 39,90. But only at Strenesse stores or Hugendubel bookstores. It would be fun to have look at it in real. Our guys dressed up in finest designer gown, captured in glossy black and white photos.

I'm still alive.
Just to make sure.
I'm currently working at this film production as a costume design intern which was a very spontanious thing. Because of that I have barely a free minute, and if I have one I'm not spending it infront of my computer.
But I keep reading offline fashion news and make notes about interessting things. At the end I will have a long list with small articles.
I'll try my best.
By the way: The new "Zoo" magazine is awesome. Get it! With Carl Barat on the cover.
