Auf dem inoffiziellen Apple Weblog gab es wieder mal einen sehr nützlichen Tipp: Im Drucker-Dienstprogramm einen Drucker auswählen und Apfel-Shift-D drücken. Alternativ: im Menü Drucker / Schreibtischdrucker erstellen.

Auf dem Desktop erscheint ein neues Symbol, auf das man zu druckende Dokumente ziehen kann. Erspart nervige Wartezeit.

Letzte Woche hatte ich schon einen Link zu einer Seite, auf der ein auseinandergenommenes MacBook Pro zu bewundern gab. Heute ist es der neue Intel Mac mini, den die verrückten Amerikaner aufschrauben, sobald er auf dem Tisch steht.



Hat jemand vielleicht mit dem Gedanken gespielt, sich selbst einen mini zuzulegen? Ein Grund mehr für den Kauf: endlich gibt es zwei RAM-Slots.

As techweb reported yesterday, there is an as easy way to deal with the controverse XCP copy protection that was used by Sony BMG on some CDs:
You only need a fingernail sized piece of opaque tape stiched on it to make your PC think the copy protected CD is a normal one.
